Catherine Matoian is the Grant Staff Attorney for the Innocence Inquiry Commission, exclusively investigating cases with a DNA component.
Catherine graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. She graduated from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 2012. While in law school, Catherine interned at a district attorney’s office and the Innocence Commission. She also served as the Vice President for her school’s Innocence Project.
Catherine is admitted to practice law in North Carolina.
