Nicole Hancock

Nicole Hancock joined the NC Innocence Inquiry Commission in December 2023 as a Grant Staff Attorney.

Nicole has previously worked for the Public Defender’s Office of the First District of North Carolina, Texas Department of Health and Human Services, and the Travis County Mental Health Public Defender’s Office. She graduated from the University of Georgia with Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminal Justice earned her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Nicole is admitted to practice law in North Carolina and Texas.
