Judge Marion Boone

Marion was in private practice for 30 years where she concentrated in criminal law, family law, and juvenile law. She was heavily involved in the Surry County Schools System where she served on various school boards and committees for 18 years. For several years, she served on the North Carolina Educational Facilities Finance Board and Surry/Stokes Friends of Youth Board.

Marion became a District Court Judge for the 23rd Judicial District (Surry and Stokes Counties) in 2017. She holds a certification in Juvenile Law.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Government from Campbell University and her Juris Doctor from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 1986.

Marion was born in Yadkin County, NC and now resides in Mt. Airy, NC with her husband. She has 3 adult children.
