Josh Cox
Josh Cox is a Staff Attorney for the Innocence Inquiry Commission.
Josh graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and in Political Science. He then moved to Baton Rouge, LA where he graduated from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2017 with his law degree and a degree in comparative law. Prior to joining the Commission, Josh worked as a Staff Attorney for Legal Aid of North Carolina for three years in their Helpline and Wilson offices representing low-income North Carolinians to ensure they had equal access to justice and to remove legal barriers to housing, healthcare, and employment. Josh joined the Commission in 2022.
Josh is licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
