Catherine Matoian
Catherine Matoian has been with the Commission since 2013. She started at the Commission as a Grant Staff Attorney working on federal grants for post-conviction DNA testing. She became a Senior Staff Attorney for the Commission in 2022.
Catherine graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. She graduated from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 2012. While in law school, Catherine interned at a district attorney’s office and the Innocence Commission.
Catherine is admitted to practice law in North Carolina.
