Sharon Stellato

Sharon joined the Innocence Inquiry Commission in 2008.  A Florida native, Sharon graduated with a law degree from North Carolina Central University Law School in 2006. Prior to law school, she earned an A.S. in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Since 2004, Sharon has worked in public service.  Sharon left the Innocence Inquiry Commission in 2017, to work in both public and private education.  Sharon worked for West Virginia University and, more recently, Mercer University in Georgia, where she served as the University’s Title IX Coordinator and Adjunct Faculty Member.   In 2022, Sharon returned to her role as Associate Director at the Innocence Inquiry Commission.
