Catherine Matoian is Grant Staff Attorney for the Innocence Inquiry Commission, exclusively investigating cases with a DNA component.
Catherine graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. She graduated from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 2012. While in law school, Catherine interned at a district attorney’s office, the North Carolina Center on Actual Innocence, and the Innocence Commission. She also served as the Vice President for her school’s Innocence Project.
Catherine is admitted to practice law in North Carolina.
