Brian Ziegler

Brian joined the Innocence Inquiry Commission as a staff attorney in January 2016. He graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law in May 2015, where he focused on criminal law. While in law school he interned at the Innocence Commission, as well as the Center for Death Penalty Litigation and a local public defender’s office.

Prior to attending law school, Brian taught in public schools in Akron, Ohio and Hope Mills, North Carolina after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in social studies education from Malone University.
